Conventional HIFU grows its heat lesion in a vertical direction, increasing the risk of burns and causing pain. UTIMS' patented centerless transducer grows the heat lesion horizontally instead — delivering enhanced safety, enhanced stability and enhanced performance in a single, painless gliding motion.
The result is less pain and more effective treatment: the C7M transducer delivers a 30mm treatment length versus 25mm on other products, and 31 dots per shot versus 26 on other devices.
